The Prodigal - Completed

I've signed all three paintings...YAY!!! Just have to frame them...which I will have to build myself or maybe get my son to do it, then it will be ready for the show. I didn't think I would be able to do it as I envisioned, but I am pleased with the finished product. I wish I could've gotten a better photo.

  5. Wonderful job Lokelani, I bet it looks really impressive in person. You will have to post a photo showing it framed.

  6. Thank you Barbara. I think paintings always look better IRL. I will take a photo of the piece when it is hanging in competition, and that is in October.

  8. How beautifully you have shared this favorite story! Each piece stands alone as a wonderful work of art - and together they are awesome! Lots of thought and brushwork went into this but was worth it! The abstract shapes are wonderful and your shadows soft and beautiful! Congratulations, Lokelani!

  10. Well done Lokelani :-)
You really captured those sunny day shadows and I like the way that the 3 figures move from bottom left to middle to top right across the panels.

  18. Great work Lokelani. And yes it does tell the story. I like the figure of the 'good son' off in a huff in the background.
